The refreshment room

When you leave us, you feel like a better person

In earlier days, In Den Rustwat was affectionately called the 'verversingslokaaltje' — the refreshment room where travellers along the Honingerdijk caught their breath. In essence, that is what we still are: a place to slow down, taste and recharge.

Chef-owner Marcel van Zomeren cooks with love, time and exceptional produce from organic and local growers. The kitchen is French at its base, worldly in spirit — and moves with the seasons.
